Ålvik is a project by Theo Tol from the Netherlands. The music is an instrumental crossover of contemporary classical music, New Age, and ambient music.
The reason that Ålvik was conceived is to have a different creative stream for the output of more song-oriented and composed pieces, in contrast to the improvised soundscapes that are released under the alias Crows Labyrinth.
